Minton Mushroom Teapot Majolica Archive Collection #145 2002 England

Minton have been doing limited releases off their ‘old’ teapots.  This teapot was produced in 2002 and is #145 of 1,000 only.

A lemon form body molded with a leafy spray issuing from a branch forming the base, handle and spout, surmounted by a mushroom cap form cover with further mushroom finial.

This teapot and lid is in excellent condition with no damage.

Size: 21cm from spout to handle, 10cm wide/diameter and 13cm tall  Weight: 490g

The original Mushroom Teapot was made by Minton about 1865 and you would expect to pay several thousand Enlish pounds for one.
