Bessemer Australia have been producing high quality cookware since the 1960s.
In the 1970s, Bessemer appears to have had Nylex make a range of Melmac pieces and patterns for them that form part of the Australian picnic and BBQ history landscape.
Melmac is a brand name of dinnerware moulded from melamine resin, first made by the American Cyanamid Company, and most likely produced in Australia under American License.
