The Hornsea Pottery operated in England from 1949-2000.  It was established by brothers Desmond and Coin Rawlinson.

John Clappison (1937-2013) designed the Elegance range in 1955, the Heirloom Range in 1967, the Saffron Range from 1970-1972 and Bronte Ranges in the 1970s.  He designed for Hornsea from the 1950s through to the 1980s.  He also designed for Ravenhead Glass and after 1984 at Royal Doulton.
