Mid-Century (on this website) includes items commonly seen in homes during the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s.  Items from this period have obtained a nostalgia separate from the Antique nostalgia and from the Vintage decor nostalgia.

My definition of Mid-Century Modern stretches the standard definition which refers to the Architectural and Design movement from roughly 1933 to 1965. Most people use this term when referring to Architecture, furnishing and sometimes decorative art.
