I could not believe it when I saw this bowl cum ashtray on the shelf at a local charity store and it was marked 50c.
Yes it did have one chip… but so did the identical one I have at home.
The piece I have at home came from my late Mother-in-Law. It was always on the coffee table in the lounge room and was used as an ashtray. It is the first piece of Mid-Century Glassware that I owned and I always thought that it was Iittala Finland 1970s.
When I bought my bargain twin home, I went to Google to find out what the pattern was, and could not find a similar piece.
Could I be wrong… can anyone help me to identify this piece please?

Hi there, did you learn anything more about this piece? I just now brought one at a Op shop and would love to learn more- I didn’t realize it was a ashtray
Thanks
Sarah
Hello and sorry for the late reply. I have bee downsizing and no longer have this piece. I never did learn anymore about this piece. Most of the time I can find out the maker and history, but this one remains a mystery to me. regards Cheryl
