Bitossi Ceramiche has operated in Italy from about 1871 to the present day.
Most of the their pottery was made from glazed white clay and was prone to colour chipping.
Aldo Londi (1911-2003) was the Art Director and a designer from 1946 to 1996.
Other designers included Ettore Sotsass (also an Architect) and Piero Fornasetti.
They are well known for their Rimini Blue (a bright middle blue) ranges of animal figures, lamps and other decorative items.
Rimini Blu was create by Aldo Londi in 1959 and some pieces are still produced today.
The early/vintage pieces were hand made but most recent pieces are made in a mold.
I found a recent and good article/post on Aldo Londi designs: https://fishinkblog.com/2015/07/27/aldo-londi-mid-century-ceramics-for-bitossi/
